Wu-Tang & D-Block - 'Wu-Block' Mixtape

Wu-Tang and D-Block released their mixtape 'Wu-Block': 24 tracks of rawness with special guests Beanie Sigel, Papoose, Dj Green Lantern and more. The mixtape is mainly a collection of Wu classics like 'Ice Cream', 'Clan In The Front' and 'Brooklyn Zoo' to mention a few but luckily there are some collaborative tracks between the two camps like ' The Outsiders' and 'Time Will Tell' and some freestyles too. Overall it's a solid effort and you can listen to it for free right here!

Wais P & DJ Premier 'Premo Pimpin'

Wais P and DJ Premier have just dropped a collaborative mixtape called 'Premo Pimpin' and you can listen to whole mix right here!

Lupe Fiasco 'American Terrorist III'

Lupe Fiasco released his new mixtape 'Friend of the People' a few days ago and amongst the dance-ish tracks featured on it, 'American Terrorist III' probably stands out as one of the most lyrical cuts off the project. It has an 80s feel to it (samples Kavinsky's 'Nightcall') with a thumping drum kit and is once again another song broadcasting Lupe's political stance. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Slick Rick 'Need Some Bad' Prod. by DJ Premier

Slick Rick has just released a new joint produced by none other than DJ Premier! It's classic Rick on classic Preemo and it will apparently be featured on the OST to Jonah Hill's new movie 'The Sitter.'

Snoop Dogg & Dr.Dre Jump On Tha Dogg Pound's Next Album 'Alumni'

Yes, you read that right! Snoop Dogg and Dr.Dre are not only jumping on the project but executive producing it too! A release date for 'Alumni' hasn't been made known yet but Daz and Kurupt have stated that it will be on a major label and no doubt unofficial third member Soopafly will be providing some audio fiyah to the project as well! We're definitely keeping our ears to street on this one! Watch this space...

Italian Hip Hop: Fama 'L'Hip Hop Guerriero'

Our brother Fama down in Rome has just released a new mixtape called 'L'Hip Hop Guerriero' (Warrior Hip Hop) and you can listen to it for free on TheRapBuzz.com! It also features yours truly on the boards (track 6,12) and on the mic (track 6), further reason to check it out! 


The first video for the project will come out soon, more on that later on in the week...in the meantime warm up with some new Mediterranean Hip Hop!

Raekwon 'UnExpected Victory' & 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx III'

The Chef has made two big announcements this week: the release of a new mixtape 'UnExpected Victory' on December 25th and that he's already started working on 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx III' which is scheduled for a 2012 release! Now that's a good way to celebrate the upcoming Wu-Tang 20 year anniversary!

Young Jeezy 'TM:103' Tracklist, Documentary & Cover Art

The December 20 release of 'TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition' is fast approaching and not only has Jeezy disclosed the cover art to his imminent release (see image) but he's released two short clips (there'll be another 3 in the next few days) from the docu-film, narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, that will accompany the album. Check the trailers below and lets hope that the album maintains the same standard of production of 'F.A.M.E.'!

Chester P and Farma G have just released a new track on their bandcamp page which is supposedly the last song they recorded together back in 2009.
